August President's Message

Dear Members and Friends of CASIA,

As August draws to an end, I hope you had a fantastic summer! As we head into the fall, I’m excited to share some important updates and events coming up in the next few months. First, mark your calendars for our September and October Membership Meetings.

The September meeting will be held on September 18th at Eli's on Whitney in Hamden from 5:30-7:30pm, and I encourage everyone to register now. It’s a great opportunity to connect with fellow members, discuss industry trends, and stay informed about what’s happening within CASIA.

We also have two major events on the horizon—NEACC and ISC East. These are worthwhile opportunities to expand your network, learn about the latest innovations in our industry, and represent CASIA on a larger stage. I highly recommend attending both if you can. As we plan our future meetings, we want to hear from you. Please take a moment to complete our survey on where you’d like us to hold our monthly meetings going forward. Your feedback is crucial in helping us make these gatherings more convenient and accessible for everyone.

I am also thrilled to share that we already have our 2 largest events of the year locked in for 2025! The Annual Lobster Bake will be held on June 12th at the newly renovated Penfield Pavilion on Fairfield Beach! This year the event was a huge success so we are stepping it up in 2025 and will host the Lobster Bake in the larger, updated pavilion space!

The CASIA 35th Annual Golf Classic will be held on July 24th at Lyman Orchards! Be sure to save the date for each event and plan to join us next year.
