February President's Message
As we move into the heart of the year, I continue to be energized by the incredible momentum building across our association. The strength of CASIA has always been rooted in our members, and it’s clear that we are made up of phenomenal professionals who are not only leaders in our industry, but who are consistently willing to share knowledge, support one another, and invest in the success of our CASIA and the industry at large.
We have an exciting lineup of events ahead, and attendance continues to grow at each gathering which I believe is a testament to the value of the networking and education that CASIA provides. Our March membership meeting on March 19 will be here before we know it and I'm pleased to welcome Robert Few with TCX as our featured speaker. Robert will focus on one of the most important drivers of long-term business success, increasing recurring monthly revenue (RMR).
This is a topic that resonates across our membership, and we expect a strong turnout for what promises to be an insightful and highly practical session.
In April, our Membership Meeting will shift focus to our partnership with the law enforcement community. We’re honored to host Allan Rutledge from SIAC, who will share perspectives on collaboration, false alarm reduction best practices, and model alarm ordinance success.
As we head into summer, we look forward to one of our most anticipated traditions, our beloved Lobster Bake! This event continues to grow year after year and remains a highlight for networking and camaraderie. A couple weeks later, many of us will gather at NEACC, followed by the 36th Annual CASIA Golf Classic in July, which continues to see record participation and strong sponsor support!
After a brief end of summer pause, we’ll return in full force for our 2nd Annual October Fest Expo! This event has quickly established itself as a major success and we fully expect expanded attendance and industry engagement as we add more education to the lineup for the day!
In addition to these events, we know many members are eagerly awaiting news on our CEU training schedule. We expect to release details very soon, pending final state approval. Our current plan is to offer classes in April, May, and June. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and look forward to once again providing these valuable educational opportunities to support your licensing renewal requirements!
I look forward to seeing many of you in the months ahead as we continue building on our momentum! Thank you for your ongoing commitment to our association and to the success of our industry.
Sincerely,
Jim Carey
CASIA President
