July President's Message
Dear Members and Friends of CASIA,
If you were with us last week at Lyman Orchards, you know exactly what I'm talking about. If you weren't, you missed one for the record books. Our 2026 CASIA Golf Classic was, without question, our best one yet!
With 132 golfers taking to the course, beautiful sunshine from start to finish, and what had to be the best day we could
have asked for, everything came together to create an unforgettable outing. From the first tee shot to the final raffle drawing, there was an incredible energy throughout the event. More importantly, it was another reminder of what makes CASIA such a special organization, and that is our people!
Watching so many members reconnect with longtime colleagues while welcoming new faces into the CASIA community was truly rewarding. Of course, no golf outing would be complete without a little friendly competition, and our raffle prizes certainly didn't disappoint! We had an incredible selection of prizes that kept the excitement going well into the awards ceremony, and it's always fun seeing members leave with more than just great memories of the day along with items including a grill, drone, wine, speakers, tools, and apple pies!
Events like this simply don't happen without tremendous support, and I want to extend my sincere appreciation to every one of our sponsors. Your continued investment in CASIA and your generosity made this event possible. Whether you sponsored a hole, donated raffle prizes, supported breakfast or the reception, sponsored contests on the course, or served as a premier event sponsor, your partnership allows us to continue providing meaningful opportunities for our members to connect and grow. On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, thank you for your commitment to our association and our industry.
As incredible as the Golf Classic was, we are already looking ahead to our next signature event. Mark your calendars for CASIA's October Fest Expo on October 15th at The Vue in Hamden.
This year's event promises another outstanding day of education, networking, and industry engagement. We are excited to welcome Jeffrey Zwirn as our keynote speaker, whose presentation is sure to provide valuable insights for everyone in attendance (more details below). In addition to the keynote, attendees can explore a jam-packed trade show floor featuring the latest products, technologies, and solutions from our industry partners, followed by an additional educational session in the afternoon designed to help you stay informed and competitive.
We are looking forward to heading back to The Vue which never disappoints. From the outstanding food to the spectacular backdrop, it's the perfect setting to spend a day connecting with fellow professionals and celebrating everything that makes our industry amazing.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the 36th Annual CASIA Golf Classic and helped make this year's outing our most successful yet. I can't wait to see all of you again in October as we continue the momentum at another fantastic CASIA event.
